Kanye West has finally cancelled himself after a series of what is perceived as anti-Jewish statements which has lost him two billion dollars in one day.
A black man wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirt! What the hell! What was he thinking? Is he mentally unstable? Let’s put aside our emotions and look at what Kanye himself had to say.
In an interview with Fox News, in one of his explanations he said: “Because the same people that have stripped us of our identity, and labelled us as a colour, have told us what it means to be Black and the vernacular that we’re supposed to have.” Kanye West responds to ‘White Lives Matter’ controversy with Fox News interview. Interpret that statement as you see fit.
Kanye also referred to Black Lives Matter (BLM) as a scam. Kanye West: ‘Everyone Knows That Black Lives Matter Was a Scam’. Again, this statement is open to interpretation. Disrupting The Neo-Colonial Narrative
So, Kanye is strongly condemned and loses two billion dollars for saying that certain groups of Jewish origin are trying to control his freedom of expression. Yet, imagine my surprise when I came across this gem of an article on the Black Agenda Report website which covers news and analysis from the black left. Yes, Israel and affiliated Jewish groups are accused of deliberately disrupting the free speech of the young black generation; especially in connection with Palestine. Should these groups be referred to as racist? Should they lose two billion dollars? Will Nike and other corporate brands withdraw their support from Israel?
Are you beginning to see the pattern that is emerging? If you do recognise hypocrisy when you see it they you will also realise that the black celebrities, and other black people who criticise Kanye West, are hypocrites as they will never attack double standards such as this, nor will they ever attack the root of western economic colonialism abroad. I challenge any modern day protest movement to publicly expose the issues in this article, Corporate greed has led to the world food crises and starvation in Africa.
I challenge black celebrities, and so called black race equality leaders to publicly expose the issues in this article, Britain’s Foreign Policy Is The Main Cause Of Immigration.
From this context Kanye West has a right to express his freedom of expression by wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirt, because deep down most of us are psychologically wearing ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirts.
