Light satire on US crimes against humanity is inappropriate! Falsely describing them as correctable foreign policy of a government “owned by a financial element in the centers of power” (FDR); deceives readers, protects war investors from imprisonment and seizure of assets to compensate wrongful death, injury, destruction of property, theft of natural resources. Progressives oppose MLKjr holding citizenry guilty not gov.

Regarding American progressives writing light satire while their friends and fellow citizens both in uniform and business suits go on butchering children as before.

For an example please see:

Obama “Wins” the Korean War. Celebrating the Destructive Nature of US led Wars by Jack A. Smith, Global Research 8/28/2013 http://www.globalresearch.ca/obama-wins-the-korean-war-celebrating-the-destructive-nature-of-us-led-wars/5344208

Light self-congratulatory satire regarding US crimes against humanity and peace is inappropriate when men, women and beautiful children are being slaughtered by the object of one’s satire – all the more inappropriate, since writer and reader, as Americans, are inextricably involved and complicit for participating in American crimes against humanity in one way or another, and so cannot, except illogically, lean back in an innocence implied by article’s satire.

Where is the mention that that, which is being satirized are American crimes against humanity and peace?

In the name of a merciful God, why, at least is the Vietnam holocaust and all the other impossible to rationally explain away atrocity wars not presented as one whole business within which current topical jibes and complaints regarding a particular news item are made.

And why, whether satire, or serious, is the tone in most all progressive antiwar articles one of ‘innocent-are-we-who-protest-pointing-our-fingers-at-our-own-reelected-politicians-and-away-from-ourselves.’

The whole American progressive Left, is perpetually ridiculing, protesting, denouncing, exposing certain latest actions of their own US government. Such criticizing what are in reality US crimes against humanity and peace as mere mistakes, or bad, or disastrous foreign policy reads and sounds as if this US government were capable of acting differently than it has, notwithstanding it having been “owned by a financial element in the centers of power since the days of Andrew Jackson,” confided FDR – a government that has been even more widely and wildly genocidal since America’s wealthy made Ford and Rockefeller’s Dupont, GE, GM, IBM ITT America the world’s single colonial superpower via all its large corporations intensively investing and collaborating in building the armed forces of a prostate Nazi Germany up to number one, in only a few years, in full knowledge of Hitler’s daily announced plans for communists, the Soviet Union and Jews.

Sorry, but this is all f**king insincere of the antiwar and peace industry and their lead journalists, who never show or demonstrate (or have?) any intention whatsoever to stop fellow Americans from continuing genocide, nor rarely, if ever, mercifully focus on the beautiful men, women and precious children victims, who must go on being murdered, maimed and stolen from because a factor of possible imprisonment and seizure of assets to compensate for wrongful death, injury, destruction of property and theft of natural resources has, as yet, never been entered into profit calculations of usurious and criminally speculating investors in war, since no prosecution is called for by fellow Americans in the peace movement or even by its most eminent writers and historians……worse, such poking fun at, denouncing, protesting to one’s own reelected government is deceiving its reading audience into believing Martin Luther King Jr. was WRONG when he dismissed his government as “the greatest purveyor [purveyor NOT CAUSE] of violence in the world” and cried out in anguish that AMERICA, AMERICANS (and King included himself), are responsible for the atrocity wars and covert genocide on three continents since 1945 all “meant to maintain unjust predatory investments,” because Americans are fully capable of making them unacceptable and inoperable through non-participation, non-support, non-acquiescence and conscientious objection. [see, listen, read “Beyond Vietnam”]

By counter-distinction, Majority (non-white) Mankind is not engaged in studying, analyzing, criticizing the foreign policies of the United States and the other Colonial Powers but, in trepidation, observing their continuing crimes against Majority-humanity and crimes against its peace.

Yours truly, has lived more than half a long lifetime within Majority-humanity, in countries bombed and invaded by my fellow Americans and has also, during the past ten years, spent, or wasted, time working, from New York, with career activists devoted to antiwar only as one issue among many others that are aimed at keeping the imperial home society of those killing livable in spite of the wars.

Quite erroneously, activists and journalists feel a reciprocal solidarity with the populations of nations being systematically destroyed by their compatriots, some even arranging to visit and enjoy the hospitality of citizens of various interesting cultures and ethnicities at the same time as their hosts are being bombed by other Americans. Their kindheartedness and accepting nature aside, these non-industrialized ‘third world’ men and women are not fools, and feel as much human solidarity with peace activists as they do with the pilots in the planes and soldiers shooting at them.

They know a history of war-after-unstoppable-war and peace demonstrations geared around protesting the cost of wars to Americans in dollars and American lives lost. International US dominated satellite TV will show them that gay rights, women’s rights, housing, jobs, veterans medical care are what Americans argue about, not their dead and maimed children and depleted uranium deformed babies.

Your writer has found this to be the case among the Veterans For Peace, and even more so during at least one three day convention of the large umbrella organization United National Antiwar Coalition at a Hilton Hotel in Connecticut, during which few words were heard regarding US wars.

All this time and effort spent in the name of social and economic justice within the society carrying on overseas genocide has been in direct refutation of Martin Luther King’s outcried demand that Americans stop their killing the poor overseas first, and warning that should be obvious no social and economic progress at home can take place during the expenditure of inconceivably enormous human and financial resources in atrocity wars.

Yet click on to most any Internet progressive newsletters, and one finds articles on current horrendous wars are vastly outnumbered by articles on economics and social issues of warring America, and none but Dissident Voice supporting the call for the prosecution of US crimes against humanity. [As just one unrealistic example: Time To Decide: Concentrated, Privatized Wealth Or Shared Prosperity And Economic Democracy By Kevin Zeese and Margaret Flowers http://www.countercurrents.org/flowers240713.htm]

In this writer’s humble opinion the most powerfully penetrating anti-imperialist war authors are Paul Craig Roberts and John Pilger. Read all their articles, yet, Prof. Roberts focuses mostly (quite penetratingly) on the American homeland malfeasance, and see Pilger’s recent How We are Impoverished, Gentrified and Silenced – And What To Do About It as an example of diverting our attention from those being slaughtered by the British to unfortunate conditions in warring England.

The total impact of the writings of progressives seems an axiom denial: ‘America can have its cake and eat it at the same time,’ – ‘have its profitable for investors wars and enjoy life at home as well.’ at the reader’s service, a voice from Majority Mankind and the educational and stimulus Prosecute US Crimes Against Humanity Now Campaign presenting pertinent laws and featuring a country-by-country history of US crimes in 19 and counting nations.

Left-wing scholars have been fiercely “criticizing President Obama’s foreign policy and civil liberties record” for seven years.

With US caused death of innocents in streets in Syria and Libya, Americans in uniform raining death upon innocents, and they are all freaking innocents until proven otherwise, in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, (obvious crimes against humanity by Nuremberg Principles Law) and almost everywhere else in the world Americans committing crimes against peace starting with threats to bomb Iran and Korea (a 2nd time),

I’m sorry but referring to all these prosecutable horrific crimes as “FOREIGN POLICY” seems intended to protect Americans guilty of funding , profiting, planning, ordering, praising, participating in, supporting, and/or acquiescing in these more than six decades ongoing crimes against humanity on three continents, bloody obviously to maintain equally criminal unjust predatory investments, from prosecution.

Moreover as opposed to Martin Luther King Jr. outcry that America, Americans (he included himself) are responsible for atrocity wars and covert homicide on three continents and equally capable of making them unacceptable and inoperable by non-participation, non-support, non-acquiescence and conscientious objection, all the antiwar journalism continues to point a finger at their own reelected government and away from ourselves. All of them incomprehensibly aware that King dismissed his government as “the greatest purveyor (PURVEYOR, NOT CAUSE), of violence in the world and address not a single word to government in his Beyond Vietnam sermon.

All the more fishy and lacking in compassion for our brothers and sisters and their children in countries already poor from centuries of previous US allied European empires plunder and enslavement, constantly being attacked at the cost of millions of lives.

The American “Left-wing” ‘exposes’ in detail what we have seen graphically enough on TV since the butchery of Koreans in their own beloved country after having survived a brutal Japanese 40 year occupation recognized as legal by Teddy Roosevelt and President Wilson in return for the Japanese empire’s recognition of the US claim to own the Philippines.

But for 63 years the American Left-wing has to my knowledge ever called for the ONLY thing that would stop US genocide: prosecution by the world of American crimes against humanity and crime against peace! War investors during profit calculations would have to include a factor of possible imprisonment and seizure of assets to cover ‘wrongful death, injury, destruction of property and theft of natural resources.

See, google, the educational website Prosecute US Crimes Against Humanity Now, which contains the pertinent laws, exhortations from Einstein, King (and Chomsky) and feature a country-by country history of US crimes in 19 and counting countries. And decide for yourselves if it is logical to continue to criticize your own reelected government as if the writers and their audience and most all Americans were innocent.
